What we believe in
This "Statement of Fundamental Truths" contains the 16 doctrines of the Assemblies of God. These are non-negotiable tenets of faith that all Assemblies of God churches adhere to. Four of these, Salvation, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Divine Healing, and the Second Coming of Christ are considered Cardinal Doctrines which are essential to the church's core mission of reaching the world for Christ.

Our History

thus far the lord has taken us

    • 1981 – Victory Christian Centre Tabernacle, formely known as  Muhimbili Assemblies of God Church, was found by Rev. Aaron Mwanyonga
    • 2002 – Rev. Dr. Huruma  Nkone with his wife, Pastor Joyce Nkone, restarted the church with 15 members only by then. Services were conducted in several venues such as Ranking Theatre and Muhimbili Primary School
    • 2003 – The church kept increasing in number so they moved to Scripture Union premises
    • 2007 – The church moved from Muhimbili to Victoria at a hall found within the Victoria Petrol Station compound. The church kept increasing in number to about 800 members
    • 2012 – The church moved from Victoria to Mbezi Beach where the church is currently located. Its  only by God’s grace the number of church members is approaching 1500, we are so grateful to the Almighty God for this step.
